Terms and Conditions

These are our general terms and conditions. These, together with the references they contain, apply to every agreement that we, Meola Leather Dogs (with KvK number: 60592133), conclude with you.

You can also reach me at 0619205467. We have the right to change these general terms and conditions. You agree that the latest version of these general terms and conditions will always apply to our agreement.

Article 1 - Products

We sell handmade leather dog products and accessories.

Article 2 - Payments

The price of the products is indicated in our webshop including VAT. You can pay in our webshop with iDEAL or Bancontact. The shipping costs are for your own account up to a certain amount.


Shipping to the Netherlands is free from €75, before that €5
Shipping to Belgium and Germany is free from €100, before that €8.50
Shipping to Spain is free from €150, before that €10.50
Shipping to England is free from €200, before that €16.50
Shipping to America is free from €250, before that €26.50

Article 3 - Deliveries

We deliver your product to the address you provided when ordering. You can no longer change the address once we have sent the package. PostNL handles all packages. When the package has been sent, you will receive a track & trace code from us, with which you can track the order. The delivery times vary per product and can be found with the product. If the order is delayed, PostNL will inform you of this by email or if you have their app you can also find it there. We guarantee that you will receive the order no later than 30 days after the order has been sent. If this is unexpectedly not possible, you can request us to refund the amount you paid for the product, or to send a replacement product (of equal value).

Article 4 - Returns

You may always return the product that comes from the collection and is not personalized within 14 days after you have received it. You can do this by sending a message via the chat function on the website and stating the reason for return. Once we have received the product, we will refund the purchase amount within 30 days.

During the period that you have to consider whether you want to keep the product, you must handle the product and the packaging with care. You may only unpack the product and put it on/hang it around to determine whether you want to keep the product and therefore have not already used it.

Did you have something custom made, personalized or is the product from the sale? Then unfortunately you cannot return it.

Article 5 - Warranty

We provide a 3-month warranty on the products for loose stitching or loose fittings. This does not apply if the dog has bitten the product and it has broken for this reason. The warranty also expires if the product is used while swimming (or in extreme wetness). Of course, everything can be repaired for a fee. If the product breaks during normal use and within the warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement product. In this case, please contact us first.

Leather is and remains a natural product and should be treated as such. In extreme wetness, it is possible that leather will give off.

Article 6 - Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by the use of a product. This does not apply if that damage is caused by our intent, gross negligence or conscious recklessness. Your right to compensation will in any case be a maximum of the amount of the ordered and paid product.

Article 7 - Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights (such as: copyrights, logos, word marks) on our texts, photos, images and other materials are our property (or we manage them with the permission of the rights holder). Your use may not infringe on this.

Article 8 - Complaints procedure

If you have a complaint about the execution of the agreement, we would like to hear from you. Please send your complaint as soon as possible (and describe it as completely as possible) to info@meolaleatherdogs.nl. We will handle your complaint within 10 working days after we have received your complaint. If it takes longer to handle the complaint, you will receive a confirmation of your complaint within 2 working days and we will let you know when we expect a substantive response. If we cannot resolve the complaint between ourselves, a dispute will arise that falls under the dispute resolution procedure.

Article 9 - Dispute resolution

These general terms and conditions and the agreements we conclude with you are subject to Dutch law. In the event of a dispute, the court in Rotterdam has jurisdiction.
