Terms and Conditions

These are our general terms and conditions. These, together with the references they contain, apply to every agreement that we, Meola Leather Dogs (with Chamber of Commerce number: 60592133), conclude with you.

You can also reach me on 0619205467. We have the right to change these general terms and conditions. You agree that the latest version of these general terms and conditions will always apply to our agreement.

Article 1 - Products

We sell handmade leather dog products and accessories.

Article 2 - Payments

The price of the products is stated in our webshop including VAT. You can pay in our webshop with iDEAL or Bancontact. Shipping costs are at your own expense up to a certain amount.


Shipping to the Netherlands is free from €75, €5 before that
Shipping to Belgium and Germany is free from €100, €8.50 for that
Shipping to Spain is free from €150, €10.50 for that
Shipping to England is free from €200, €16.50 for that
Shipping to America is free from €250, €26.50 for that

Article 3 - Deliveries

We deliver your product to the address you specified when ordering. You can no longer change the address if we have already sent the package. PostNL takes care of all packages. When the package has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code from us, with which you can track the order. Delivery times vary per product and can be found with the product. If the order is delayed, PostNL will notify you by email or if you have their app you can also find it there. We guarantee that you will receive the order no later than 30 days after the order is shipped. If this is unexpectedly unsuccessful, you can request us to refund the amount you paid for the product or send a replacement product (of equal value).

Article 4 - Return

You can always return the product that comes from the collection and is not personalized within 14 days after you have received it. You can do this by sending an email to info@meolaleather.nl and stating the reason for return. Once we have received the product, we will refund the full purchase amount within 30 days. During the period you have to decide whether you want to keep the product, you must handle the product and its packaging with care. You may only unpack and put on/hang the product to determine whether you want to keep the product and have therefore not already used it.

Have you had something custom made or personalized? Then unfortunately you cannot return this.

Article 5 - Warranty

We provide a 3-month warranty on the products, for example on loosening of stitching or loosening of haberdashery. This does not apply if the dog has bitten the product and it has broken for this reason. The warranty also expires if the product is used while swimming. Of course everything can be repaired for a fee. If the product breaks during normal use and within the warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement product. In this case, please contact us first.

Article 6 - Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by the use of a product. This does not apply if the damage was caused by our intent, gross negligence or deliberate recklessness. Your right to compensation will in any case not exceed the amount of the ordered and paid product.

Article 7 - Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights (such as: copyrights, logos, word marks) on our texts, photos, images and other materials are our property (or we manage them with the permission of the rights holder). Your use may not infringe this.

Article 8 - Complaints procedure

If you have a complaint about the execution of the agreement, we would like to hear from you. Send your complaint as quickly as possible (and describe it as completely as possible) to info@meolaleather.nl. We will handle your complaint within 10 working days after we have received your complaint. If it takes longer to settle the complaint, you will receive confirmation of your complaint within 2 working days and we will let you know when we expect a substantive answer. If we cannot resolve the complaint mutually, a dispute will arise that falls under the dispute settlement procedure.

Article 9 - Dispute settlement

Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions and the agreements we conclude with you. In the event of a dispute, the court in Rotterdam has jurisdiction.
