What color should I choose for my dog's leather harness?

Colors... I really can't stop talking about it. A color harness for your dog that exactly matches the dog's coat or a color that doesn't stand out or would you go for a bright color that stands out more? Both are possible and below I will tell you which colors are currently chosen most and for this reason I always have them in the collection with of course always a slightly different type of leather, but in the same color category. Then you can get your inspiration from this.

Neutral colors

When you think of neutral colors, you think of earth tones. These are also the colors that match your dog's coat. Of course, a different color for every dog, but they certainly fall into this category. And this is also the category with which I meant above, the colors that do not stand out, because they match your dog's coat. Okay, if you have a white dog and choose a black harness, of course not, but you get what I mean 😝

Black; you would think this color is mega neutral and almost everyone chooses it when choosing clothing. Well, I can tell you that I have at most 5 pairs of black clothing hanging. I prefer the color. But anyway, we weren't going to talk about that. Strangely enough, many women do choose black clothing, but black harnesses are almost never chosen. I always have black in stock, so that's why I'm mentioning this color. You will find this colour in the standard collection.

 

Cognac; this is by far the most chosen colour. It can disappear completely into the coat, but can also lift up certain parts of the coat. In any case, it is an all-time favourite colour to wear as a harness on your dog. We always have these in the collection. Sometimes matte and sometimes a bit more shiny. Of course, all the colours I mention can also be combined with each other. For example, all blue colours together, just like in the first LIMITED collection that we launched. Dark brown; This color can also be blended in beautifully with the coat or made to stand out a little more if you have a white dog with dark brown spots, for example. Always present in the collection. You can choose this color if you have a custom harness made.

Army green; look, you have army green and army green, but the color I mean here is the neutral version that contains more earth tones. Also always in the collection. You will find this colour in the standard collection.

Beige; also a favorite and always seen in the collection. You can choose this color if you have a custom harness made.

Striking colours

Now we move on to the striking colours. And yes, you can also be more neutral here than really bright bright. Because I have 2 Australian Labradoodles and they always have quite a long coat (we like that) I like bright colours and then I mean in the sense of orange or cobalt blue. But of course there are variations in that too. Below are a number of colours that are chosen very often.

Wine red; such a beautiful winter color. I first doubted whether I would put this with the neutral colors or not. It didn't work out haha. Well what can I say about it, it is chosen very often and it looks great on Nola. You will find this colour in the standard collection.

Blue; is also often chosen, but mainly for males. Although I have to say that Nola also sometimes gets a blue harness, but then again Moos also sometimes wears a pink one. That's what you get when your boss has a company where she makes harnesses for dogs. Of course, all the colours I mention are also possible in a combination with each other. For example, all blue colours together, just like in the first LIMITED collection that we launched. You will find this colour in the standard collection.

 

Purple; this one is ordered very often lately. Of course you have several shades of purple, but there is always one in my leather stock. You can choose this color if you have a custom harness made.

Orange; also a favorite and then you can go for neon orange like I have at Nola or peach color. You can choose this color if you have a custom harness made.

Pink; this colour is actually only ordered in consultation with the male boss. Some men do not want to walk around in pink gear. Everyone has their own opinion of course. Nevertheless, this is a popular colour and it is always in the collection. Also great to combine pink with other colours, as was done in the first LIMITED collection. You can choose this color if you have a custom harness made.
