The custom leather dog leashes are made entirely by hand in my studio, 100% handmade. It is possible to have an adjustable leather dog leash or fixed one made. They are really mega cool because of the leather material and therefore because they are handmade.
Police dog leash leather
The leather leashes in the custom collection are handmade. The great thing about these custom leashes is that you can choose whether you want an adjustable leash, a fixed leash or a long leash. The standard adjustable leashes of 170cm are approximately 110cm at their shortest, 150cm on the middle ring and 170cm at their longest. If you want it fixed it is 170cm without adjustment options.
It is also possible to have a long dog leash made of leather. This can be adjusted or fixed, only if you want it fixed there is a small ring somewhere in the middle. This is because it is not possible to make a leather leash of 3 meters, simply because the skin of leather is not that long. The police leash for the dog can therefore be made of 3 meters.
Handsfree 3 meter line
The line has 2 snap hooks if you want to make it adjustable. With a fixed line there is only a snap hook on the bottom of the line (this side goes on the dog). With an adjustable line there is an o-ring at approximately 70cm from the bottom and a d-ring at 50cm from the top. And with this you make a handle in your line. With a fixed line you only have a ring if the leather is not long enough.
This means that if you have a 3 meter leash made, it is also handsfree. You can click the leash onto the ring and then you can hang it crossbody around you and thus walk your dog handsfree with the leather leashes that we make.
Matching your custom harness
If you have a custom leather y-harness made by us, I would also order a cool matching leather leash. Then you have a completely new outfit for your dog. The leather dog leashes are made of 2 layers of leather and are reinforced so that the stretching of the dog leash is reduced. The leather dog leashes also lie very comfortably in your hand, because they are made of supple leather. The dog leashes also have bronze fittings and a matching stitching to the color of the leather.
Different widths for a line
The custom lines I can make in 15mm, 20mm or 25mm width. I recommend taking the same width for your line in which you also have your harness. If you prefer a wider line in your hand, you can combine the 20mm line and a 15mm harness or a 25mm line and 20mm harness. Each width can be made in the standard size 170cm, a 3 meter line and fixed or adjustable.
Choosing a color for your dog leash
The leather dog leashes can literally be made in any color that you can see in the sample card in the photos. This can be brown, orange, black, cognac, pink, red, green, gray or blue. And some colors are also available with a print in it. Be sure to check the photos to see which color you want to go for.
