The most comfortable outfit for your dog that also looks great. That is certainly the case with the leather harnesses that we make entirely by hand. A leather Y-harness that DOES fit
A harness that doesn't quite fit your dog, how annoying is that? Just too big or just too small, adjusting the size is not possible and the harness is in your dog's armpits. All of this is a thing of the past.
We are in love with the Y-harnesses we make for the following reasons.
1. They are adjustable in 3 places and therefore your dog no longer has the harness in the armpits. This provides more freedom of movement. The harness is adjustable at the belly, neck and between the front legs. The part on the back is the only part that is fixed.
2. the y-harnesses are made of very soft leather. This does not mean that the harness is not sturdy, but that it is very comfortable for your dog. Leather is a natural product and this ensures that the harness feels like a second skin for your dog. And helps prevent tangles with a long coat!
3. the fit of the leather harnesses we make is top. Because we make it extra long on the back and at the front legs, this means that the harness does not sit in the armpits of the dog and has extra freedom of movement.
My dog does not fit into the standard sizes you find in stores
I have a standard collection of harnesses online in 4 sizes S-XL. Doesn't fit your dog? No problem, you can also order a custom harness .
Step 1 measuring your dog. You do this using the measuring video I recorded
Step 2 determine the width of the harness. If you have a small dog of about 6 kilos or less, I recommend going for the 15mm. If your dog is about 7 to 17 kilos, I recommend the 20mm and from 20 kilos the 25mm. The overlapping kilos can be filled in yourself whether you go for 20 or 25mm, this mainly depends on whether you want the harness to look nice and cool
Are you a bit nervous about measuring your dog, because you are afraid that the size will not be right? Then you can always plan a measuring session and come to my studio. Then you can also view all the leather colors in real life.
Adding extra options to a custom leather harness
Since I make all products by hand, you can choose to have extra clips made in the neck in case your dog does not like having a harness put over its head.
Does your dog pull a lot? Then it is useful to be able to click your line on the chest in addition to clicking on the back. This allows you to correct him by applying extra pressure to the chest. You can then check the option extra ring on the chest.
You can also personalize the harness with the name on the harness and/or your telephone number on a tag.
